After the Russian occupiers, with the help of their henchman, the mankurt Aisin Nikolaev, spat in the faces of all residents of the Sakha Republic on 22 October with amendments to the Constitution, partisans from the Nomad unit carried out a protest on the streets of Yakutsk.
In various districts of Yakutsk, we reminded traitors, usurpers, and thieves of the people’s wealth: “Power and resources must belong to the people of Sakha!”
We have sent a clear signal to the authorities: the time of prolonged, uncomplaining silence of the Sakha people is over.
In the Nomad unit, representatives of the Sakha, Bashkorts, Kalmyks, Tatars and other descendants of the warriors of the great steppe are already fighting for freedom and independence.
Our underground movement is rapidly expanding in the territories of the Russian Federation’s national republics. We see how Moscow’s attempts to destroy the remnants of indigenous autonomy are leading to people seeking opportunities for resistance there.
More and more Sakha people are beginning to understand that only complete independence for the Sakha Republic can provide its residents with a decent standard of living, confidence in the future, and security.
