On 3 February, the Lviv Regional Council supported an appeal to the parliament to adopt draft law No. 11402 “On the Basic Principles of the State Policy of Ukraine Regarding Interaction with National Movements of Colonial Nations of the Russian Federation”. We would like to remind you that the initiative of this appeal was born at the conference “Freedom for Nations: How to Destroy the Moscow Empire of Evil”, which took place on 30 October in the regional council and was attended by the Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria Akhmad Zakayev, representatives of national movements of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and the Circassian people.
The appeal emphasises that achieving sustainable peace is possible only through complete deimperialisation and decolonisation of the Russian Federation. We must make every effort at all levels, in interaction with the national movements of colonial nations of the Russian Federation, to accelerate this process and bring it to its logical conclusion.
Ukraine can and should become the voice of the nations enslaved by the Russian empire in the world, draw the attention of the world community to the crimes of the Russian Federation against indigenous nations, because the world does not yet know about them. Ukrainians have a similar historical experience and know well what it means to be part of this empire.
