The Siberian Battalion, in particular the natives of Bashkortostan, fighting in our unit against the criminal Kremlin regime, supporting their brother, demanding the freedom of Fail Alsynov, came to the courthouse in Baymak and entered into a confrontation with the security forces.
We demand the freedom of Fail and other political prisoners. Today, the occupation authorities disperse, beat, grab and torture the unarmed. But you will have to answer for everything. We have taken up arms, and we will reach the victorious final.
One of the leaders of the Bashkir national liberation movement, Ruslan Gabbasov, commented on the situation in Bashkortostan on the Siberian Battalion channel:
“I support any protests in the Republic of Bashkortostan up to an armed uprising because I understand that this government will not simply surrender and resign. It can only be demolished. Today, the Bashkirs demonstrated their tough, unyielding and protesting character, and their will to unite and protect their land and their leaders.
Our Bashkirs are fighting today in the ranks of the Siberian Battalion and their number is increasing.
I call on all Bashkirs, who today are fighting against Ukraine in the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Empire, to see what is happening now in their homeland, how ordinary unarmed people are being beaten. I call to turn your weapons against Moscow and liberate Bashkortostan!”
