“I am honoured to have been among the participants of the Free Nations University and to have had the opportunity to complete this programme. Of particular importance to me were studies in constitutional state structure, international legal aspects of implementing the right of nations to self-determination, the formation of state institutions, and national ideology. These areas are fundamental in the context of state-building, which is why I chose ‘Political Modelling of a Future Independent State – Tatarstan’ as the topic of my final thesis. I sincerely thank the University’s leadership and distinguished faculty for their professionalism, dedication, and substantive academic guidance. The knowledge and practical skills I gained will undoubtedly contribute to my further professional and civic activities.”
The organisers state that the primary goal of the Free Nations University is to foster an expert and civic environment capable of professionally and consistently advocating for the rights of nations to self-determination. Graduates of the fourth cohort from the Independence Committee of Tatarstan are already planning to apply the knowledge gained in their future initiatives and projects.
The Tatarstan Independence Committee expresses its gratitude to the organisers of the Free Nations University and emphasises the importance of such educational platforms for strengthening international dialogue and professional exchange.
