Anti-imperial Block of Nations

The code phrase that has gone down in European history is “Cloudless skies over all of Spain!” – served as a signal for civil war and drowned Spain in blood. The code phrase became a symbol of the resurgence of fascism in Europe, which ultimately led to World War II. Today, 88 years later, Russia exclaims: “There is a cloudless sky over all of Europe!” – and Putin’s fascist regime, having drowned the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Georgia, Syria and Ukraine in blood, threatens the whole world with a third world war. But first, the brown plague called the “Russian world,” which unleashed a bloody war in Ukraine, did not spare the sons of the enslaved people of Russia. Thousands and thousands of innocent representatives of the non-Russian people of colonial Russia today languish in prisons and are subjected to torture and abuse, and some have died. And there is no end to these horrors! Moreover, the repressive regime in Russia is only gaining momentum every day. This can be seen in the examples of many Republics, in particular in the Republic of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, where at these moments social activists, without trial or investigation, are thrown into prison only because they defend their native lands and want a decent life.

Today we also ask for the assistance of the world community, heads and parliamentarians of European countries, international human rights organizations, the Red Cross, the international human rights organization “Amnesty International”, the international human rights organization “Human Rights Watch” and call for: – to save the political prisoners languishing in the prisons of colonial Russia. The international criminal Putin, in whose name an arrest warrant was issued by the International Criminal Court, this “bloody butcher”, who by his decree pardoned several tens of thousands of murderers – “Wagnerites”, rapists, thieves and drug addicts, is unlikely to release innocent political prisoners.

Airat Dilmukhametov

In the name of peace on the entire planet, in the name of saving the concept of humanism, where human life has the highest value, we must create a precedent in the 21st century and save innocent political prisoners. A political prisoner recognized by the international human rights organization Memorial is Bashkort Airat Dilmukhametov, who has 5 convictions. Based on his last conviction, he was sentenced to 9 years of strict regime, and half a year ago he was transferred to a special regime. Airat Dilmukhametov spent all 11 years of prison in solitary confinement or a punishment cell. Dilmukhametov can be called a Phenomenon in the political life of colonial Russia.

On December 22, 2023, the Kirovsky District Court of the city of Ufa sentenced 57-year-old anti-war activist Ramilya Saitova to five years in prison in a general regime colony under the article “on public calls for activities directed against the security of the state”, just for a video message to the citizens of Bashkortostan not go to a criminal war in Ukraine.

Ramilya Saitova

After the rallies on January 15 and 17, 2024 in support of the defender of the rights of the Bashkort people, Bashkort language and environmental activist Fail Alsynov, who was sentenced to 4 years in prison on false charges, personally by the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, mass arrests and repressions took place against those who took part in the rallies. The repressions are directed against the entire Bashkort people. This is because Bashkorts unanimously came to the defence of the famous public figure, environmental activist Fail Alsynov.

Fail Alsynov

More than 150 people have already been detained. One person, a participant in the events in Baymak, Rifat Dautov, was killed by the police in the police building, and Dim Davletkildin, as a result of torture in the police building, had his spine broken and was forced to be hospitalized straight from the pre-trial detention centre. Thus, today in the Republic of Bashkortostan there are massive repressions against the Bashkir nation.

On October 18, 2023, Russian authorities arrested Alsou Kurmasheva, a journalist for the Tatar-Bashkir service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Alsou is a citizen of two countries, the USA and Russia. The basis for initiating the case was Kurmasheva’s book, published in November 2022, entitled “No to War. 40 Stories of Russians Opposing the Invasion of Ukraine.”

Alsou Kurmasheva

The arrest of the journalist was condemned by the governments of Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Poland and Sweden, as well as the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the President of the European Parliament, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) on the subject of Media Freedom and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. The Council of Europe’s platform for promoting the protection of journalism and the safety of journalists published a call for the release of Alsou Kurmasheva. The arrest of Alsou Kurmasheva is by far the most egregious example of Russian foreign agent laws being abused against the independent press.

Fighting for the release of political prisoners of colonial Russia, we appeal to you, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and propose an open-ended campaign for the release of the above-mentioned prisoners of conscience. We believe that Ukraine is one of the closest allies of the people enslaved by Russia, so we ask the Ukrainian authorities to help take measures to free fighters who are opponents of Russia’s war against Ukraine from among non-Russian people. Considering the mediation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the process of exchange of prisoners of war between Russia and Ukraine, which is due to the strong relations of Abu Dhabi with the two countries, we ask the UAE to assist in this matter.

Respectfully,
