Banderites’ readings on the topic “Freedom for nations! Freedom for the individual!: the history and prospects of the liberation struggle of nations enslaved by Russia” will be held in Kyiv in early February 2025.
The Russian-Ukrainian war opened up a unique opportunity for nations enslaved by Russia to throw off the yoke of Moscow colonialism and imperialism and finally become masters of their own destiny on their own land.
During the XII Banderites’ readings, it is planned to revive the destroyed, erased and forbidden history of the long-standing resistance of enslaved nations to Moscow imperialism.
Every people, and nation, on whose land the Moscow occupier came, resisted the Moscow empire. Moscow destroyed disobedient subjects, encouraged traitors, and rewrote history.
The time has come for every nation in this prison of nations to find out “who they are, by whom and what they are imprisoned for” and make their own decisions. Whether to die in Russian captivity, being a blind tool in the hands of the Kremlin, powerless on their land, deprived of language, history, and identity, or to remember the glory of their ancestors and fight for freedom.
The second panel will be devoted to the actual prospects of the national liberation struggle.
We invite researchers of Russian colonialism and the struggle against it, as well as active representatives of national liberation formations of enslaved nations, to participate in the 12th Banderite readings.
As part of the 12th Bandera Readings, a Youth Essay Competition on the specified topic is traditionally planned.
The book “Involuntary Accession: The History of the Liberation Struggle of Nations Enslaved by Russia” will also be published in Ukrainian, English and an electronic version in the occupation language.
Based on the results of the Bandera readings, an electronic version of the participants’ speeches will be prepared.
Traditionally, we will collect the funds peacefully. Thanks to the contributions of ordinary Ukrainians scattered all over the world, we managed to hold the 11th Bandera readings in a new format and publish the book “Liquidation of the Russian Empire” in English and Ukrainian, which has already been printed in three editions and has become a notable phenomenon among studies on this topic.
