We are at the stage of the first and not the last Russian-Ukrainian war. The first phase will not solve the issues before us. For Russia, the subject state existence of Ukraine is unacceptable. She will put everything on the line to destroy our state. The existence of the Ukrainian nation is a threat to the collapse of the Russian empire. The colonial past did not erase the Ukrainian gene in us. For them, the end of the war is the destruction of Ukraine. For us – the collapse of Russia as an empire. Ukraine does not use unique chances. For the second year in a row, we did not take advantage of the opportunity to start the national liberation struggle of the Caucasian peoples. Weapons. This can and should have been done. Some people think that the exit to the borders in 1991 was a victorious finale. This will not end the war. The former borders between Russia and Ukraine, which existed before February 24, will no longer exist. Everything has radically changed. You have to come to terms with this and move on.
For centuries, the Russian Empire existed on the political map of the world. Many knew: she is bad, but this is a fact to which they are accustomed. However, the biggest problem is that there was no Ukrainian state for centuries. Until we explain to the world the mission and place of Ukraine and the fact that it can replace Russia in this part of the geopolitical space, it will fear the collapse of Muscovy. Not only because the Kremlin has nuclear weapons. In the collective opinion of the West, this will strengthen China. They are wary of the huge unstable territory that will emerge after the collapse of the empire.
In 2015, my colleagues and I held an international discussion “How to organize Russia”. It was about the fact that we are satisfied with the natural area of national states that will emerge after the collapse of the empire. In particular, Russian. After that, I see few government attempts to work on it. There are some attempts to invite oppositionists from national minorities. However, they are weak and unsystematic. Therefore, the first Russian-Ukrainian war will end in nothing: neither we nor the enemy will achieve the set goal. The second stage of the national liberation struggle awaits us. Russia needs a few years of rest to continue the war with new forces. They want to freeze the war on the line where their army is entrenched. Our task is to prevent them from doing this.
