Abdullah Tyurer Efendi also spoke about what he knows, spoke and would speak everywhere about the oppression of Tatars, about the destruction of the language, about imprisonment with fictitious accusations of Tatars capable of fighting, about intimidation, murders, and expulsion from the country. Abdullah Tyurer Efendi, who worked as a journalist for many years, expressed indignation and concern that despite the fact that 60% of those who voted in the 1992 Tatarstan independence referendum voted for independence, the desire of the people was crushed.
Those who met noted that the Tatars had not forgotten their history, that there is only one shameless and deceitful enemy that destroys the clan, language and religion of the Tatars, and that the Tatars need to unite to fight this enemy. At the same time, Abdullah Tyurer Efendi said that we should not forget that many of the Tatar elite, who fled from the oppression of the Bolsheviks, were with Atatürk in creating the foundations of the Turkish Republic and the respected and important role of the Tatars in Turkey. In turn, Rafis Efendi heartily thanked Abdullah Tyurer Efendi for all his words, support and inclusion in the struggle, noted the desire to work together with him.
He also urged to unite the Tatars, look for ways of mutual assistance and look for connections and work together with all representatives of the peoples fighting for freedom. Rafis Efendi also thanked Abdullah Tyurer Efendi for his participation together with Farit Zakiyev in the first Conference of Free Circassia in Istanbul.
As a result, those who met expressed their satisfaction with the meeting, placing great hopes on unifying actions and the desire for an organized, thoughtful and planned struggle.
