Anti-imperial Block of Nations

Publisher: Institute for Continental Problems (Tairiku Mondai Kenkyūjo).
This magazine was published by an institute under the direction of former intelligence lieutenant general Akusuza Yoshihide and specialised in the analysis of Soviet policy, the communist bloc, and the situation in China. The cover box contains announcements of key analytical materials for this issue:
1. Why did the Soviet Union retreat in Cuba? (ソ連はながキューバで後退したか) is a heated analysis of the Cuban Missile Crisis, which occurred in the fall of 1962.
2. Recent Soviet-Chinese relations (最大中ソ関連) — a study of the period of aggravation of the ideological and political split between the USSR and the PRC.
3. Peoples under Soviet rule (ソ連支配下下諸民族) — this title is underlined with a red line on the cover. The material directly concerns the national liberation movements of the nations enslaved by Moscow (including Ukraine).
4. Sounding the recent situation in communist China (中共最大の情勢を打診する).
Tokyo, 1962.
