The Republic has declared its independence from the Soviet Union! Belarus managed to get a chance to enter a new independent stage of its development! 256 deputies voted for this bill, no one was against, no one abstained. Only nine nations of deputies did not participate in the vote.
Then Independence Square was completely filled with people who supported the idea of Independence! And the Belarusian people took the fate of their country into their own hands!
Now Belarus is again experiencing complex political processes, repressions, a veiled occupation and colossal pressure from imperial Russia.
On August 9, 2020, after the elections rigged by the Lukashenka regime, the people of Belarus took to the streets. Thousands of people went through torture and beatings, many people were killed. Mass protests continued until February 2021. Lukashenka’s bloody regime has lost its legitimacy in the eyes of Europe. Lukashenka supported the fascist Putin regime. After the start of the predatory, criminal war against Ukraine, Belarus actually became a satellite of fascist Russia.
The government of Independent Tatarstan in exile wishes true Independence and freedom to the friendly Belarusian people and Belarus!
Nyahai live Free Belarus!
Sincerely,
