The Novo-Savinovsky District Court of Kazan sentenced blogger Parvinakhan Abuzarova to three years in a general regime colony in the case of public calls for activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation (clause “c” of Part 2 of Article 280.4 of the Criminal Code).
The verdict was handed down on September 11. According to investigators, she “actively called on the military to refuse to participate in the SVO.”
She was detained at the end of March this year and placed under house arrest. Back in February, Parvina Abuzarova was searched and ordered to appear when called by the FSB investigator, but she refused and was absent from her place of registration. She was put on the federal wanted list.
The human rights project “Support for Political Prisoners. Memorial” recognized Parvina Abuzarova as a political prisoner.
