— Shumbratado! Resistance is a popular movement. We stand for the creation of Erzyan Mastor, a legal European state.

– Not really. This is a movement of those who advocate radical changes towards the rule of law and justice. Those who do not want to live in a police state. The main thing that unites us is freedom and justice. Although we are few, but we have a variety of people: both by nationality and by beliefs. And even in religion. — I’m not the leader of the Erzya resistance. Everything is organized in such a way that I only know the direct commander and the group I am a part of. Whether the commander of our group is the leader, I don’t know either.

Maybe it’s generally ordered against Lyapunov. Still, a rich man, with certain connections, “decisive questions.” Lyapunov certainly has many enemies.
“Of course, you shouldn’t blindly believe what you heard. Especially in our time. Everything must be taken critically, check the information received. We encourage our people to do this. As for other units, firstly, I know about their existence, I know for sure that they exist. They helped us prepare for other actions. Secondly, resistance is not only arson and explosions. Power actions are only one of the methods of our struggle. But in order for such an action to take place, very serious preparatory work is needed.
– Let’s say that there are other divisions united by a single leadership and a single idea. Why didn’t we see other actions, but only one – in Zubova Polyana? By the way, Zubova Polyana is Moksha land. What does the Erzya resistance have to do with it?
– Questions for three interviews at once (laughs – ed) . I’ll try to explain. The Erzya resistance is not an ethno circle or a community. Those who share our views and are ready to act join the resistance. Among us there are Russians, and Mokshans, and not only from Mordovia.
We are the fighting wing of the Erzya movement. That is, there is a political wing, and there is a power bloc, let’s call it that. The political wing is Inyazor, the Council of Elders, the Erzya Congress, which was held last year in Estonia. There, the political program and the specific goal of our entire struggle was approved – the creation of an independent state of Erzyan Mastor. The territory of the state that we want to create is much larger than the territory of the Republic of Mordovia. There are also Moksha lands, and Tatar, and Russian. The Internet has it all with pictures and maps.
Therefore, if we held an action in Zubova Polyana, this does not mean that there is a Moksha circle that decided to create resistance. no. Everything is arranged differently. The command saw that lawlessness was happening in Zubova Polyana – the authorities decided to build a landfill for waste from all the surroundings, including neighboring regions, spitting on people’s opinions, brazenly, ignoring the people. Accordingly, Od Vij decided to stand up for the people and teach the authorities a lesson.
We will act on those lands where we want to build a new state, and not where the Erzyans now live, not where we have been driven over the past hundred years…
– It turns out that Zubova Polyana is your only action?
— No, not the only one.
– And why did it become known only about this action?
Because that was the command’s order. They considered it necessary to publicize the story of the landfill, and do everything to make the government retreat. Therefore, “Od Vij” decided to give an interview to your channel, we know that “VANDY” is one of the resources of the Erzya national movement.

People want to believe in the existence of “people’s avengers” who punish the stealing officials. However, there are those who are afraid of your methods. Why act so radically? You said yourself that you are fighting for the rule of law. So fight with legal methods! Write appeals to the police, to the prosecutor’s office, to the investigative committee.
“Sorry, that’s pointless!” We won’t write anywhere else. It makes sense to write petitions, appeals, statements to the courts if the law works or there is at least a semblance of justice. You ask people who today believes these courts, the police and the prosecutor’s office? If the minister’s son or the prosecutor’s wife sues you, guess who will win the trial? I think that any student will answer you.
The idea of an independent state of Erzyan Mastor appeared for a reason. We won’t be able to survive otherwise! Russia is a big prison or a colony that breaks a person, teaches them to be obedient from childhood. The Russian authorities need the people only as service personnel or as cannon fodder in a war. We are taught from school that “the leadership of the country knows better”, “all power is from God”, and so on. But we understand that neither the Erzyans, nor the Mokshans, nor the Tatars, nor even the Russians themselves will have a future with Russia. Only suffering, patience and a dream of how to get out of here as soon as possible.
– So a radical reboot of the system is necessary?
– We need freedom. The reset will lead to a new Putin and a totalitarian state. If there is freedom, there will be independence. This is a natural process. If Russia is given freedom, it immediately begins to fall apart, this has been proven by history. Russia can exist only at the expense of the oprichnina, various KGB, terror, persecution of foreign agents, etc. Here you give freedom to the penal colony. What will happen? Even if Navalny and Khodorkovsky rush from barrack to barrack and yell: “Re-establishment of the colony on a voluntary basis! New contract! stay with us! Do not destroy the colony, otherwise chaos will begin! How many people will want to stay in a colony if there is an opportunity to live freely, work, and develop?
– That is, Navalny, Khodorkovsky, Kasparov are not your allies?
– No. The Erzya movement has repeatedly stated this. We have fundamentally different goals. We want freedom and independence, they want to be instead of Putin.
– But without removing Putin, you will not be able to realize your ideas.
– Political and strategic questions – this is for Syres [Bolyayen, Erzya Inyazor – ed.]. The congress assigned him to lead our movement. I can state my understanding. Navalny, Khodorkovsky, Kasparov, Gudkov are not our allies.
And Ponomarev? Russian volunteer corps and Legion “Freedom of Russia”?

And after that, I would like to hear from them that at the moment when we take power in all the territories of Erzyan Mastor, they will not interfere in our affairs, they will not send their troops, their volunteers here. They must clearly state that they do not lay claim to Erzyan Mastor, that they do not lay claim to all the territories of Idel-Ural at all. New states will arise here: Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, possibly Chuvashia, Mari El and Udmurtia. How this will happen, what the political system will be – this no longer concerns the RDK and LSR.
