“Idel.Realii” collected all currently known information – about age, ranks, districts, education, children, medals and more.
We have divided the dead according to different criteria so that readers can see a more complete picture: who they are, what age they were called and served.
The death toll is actually higher, we are guided only by data from open sources.

2. Most of the dead Tatarstanians were from Naberezhnye Chelny (69), another 61 from the capital of the Kazan region, 31 from Nizhnekamsk, 19 people each from Zelenodolsk and Bugulminsky districts.
3. Most of the military were from 30 to 34 years old (91 people). Those who died at a young age from 21 to 39 years – 309 people. The age of only 76 out of 508 dead Tatarstan soldiers is unknown.
4. 100 soldiers served in the ground forces, 33 were in the airborne, another 14 were in the special forces. The affiliation of 350 soldiers could not be determined.
5. Idel.Realii was able to establish that 42 soldiers were privates, 14 were corporals, 24 were junior sergeants, and 22 were sergeants. Among the dead, two sailors and one senior sailor were found.
6. 94 of the dead were mercenaries, at least 79 of whom were members of the Wagner PMC. 118 dead were contract soldiers, 71 were mobilized, 53 were in the national battalions, another 22 were volunteers. 34 dead were in the national battalion “Alga”.
7. At least 81 of them died in the Donetsk region, another 19 – in Lugansk.
8. 89 of the dead had a secondary vocational education, 61 had a higher education. It was not possible to determine the presence of education in 347 – this information is not publicly available.
149 of the dead received the Order of Courage, 8 – medals “For Courage”, two – “Hero of Russia”.
At least 256 children were left without a father.
9. The death of the Tatarstan military was most often reported in February, March and April 2023. Then it became known about the death of at least 121 soldiers.
