Anti-imperial Block of Nations

On February 16, 2024, Alexei Navalny, an opposition politician who tried to challenge the dictator Putin, was demonstratively executed in the “Polar Wolf” correctional colony of the Yamalo-Nenets district.

This event coincided with the annual security conference in Munich. A month before Putin’s next appointment as president of Russia and three years after Navalny’s return to Russia from treatment, Putin sent a clear signal that he would destroy anyone who challenged him.

Wherever they are. No statute of limitations regardless of whether or not they pose a real danger.

Recently, Putin has often publicly repeated that he will not stop at the fulfilment of his goals. Demonstratively destroying opponents: whether it is about people or states.

The show execution of a political opponent who poses no threat to the regime provoked the predictable response of the civilized world.

Front pages of all leading newspapers appeared with information about this event. The leaders of the world’s leading countries, including the American president, condemned and accused Putin of this massacre.

However, words alone are not enough.

The provision of adequate assistance to Ukraine, fast and unlimited in means, may be the only adequate response to the actions of a dictator who has broken free from the shackles.

Having raised the level of not just verbal threats to his opponents to the maximum, Putin will consider any reaction other than direct military aid to Ukraine as a weakness and as a reason for even more brutal actions.

The murder of Navalny and the harsh persecution of Putin’s public opponents show that a dictatorship has finally formed in the country, which is moving in the direction of Stalinist practices. Brutal arrests of people who en masse laid flowers in memory of Navalny and the destruction of these improvised memorials show that there is no chance in Russia to achieve a democratic change of power by peaceful, legal methods.

Therefore, this is a signal for the transition to more radical forms of struggle by both political opponents and representatives of nations enslaved by Russia.

Russia has become the centre of the axis of evil and is destroying the world order, therefore it has no place on the world stage. Just as it is obvious that any negotiations with a dictator are possible only in the form and content of surrender.

The Russian dictator cannot be recognized as a democratically elected President after the farce called “elections in March 2024”. Putin should be obedient and non-negotiable. He must bear real criminal responsibility for his crimes.

But this can be done not through negotiations, editorials or statements, but only through the military defeat of Russia in the war with Ukraine. And the sooner this happens, the less a rabid animal will threaten the safety and peace of mankind.
