“In order to talk about the collapse of the empire in a practical sense, it must be preceded by really free elections of local authorities. As happened in the USSR, when freely elected republican parliaments in 1990 then declared independence. Moreover, freedom of elections, in my opinion, should become the main requirement of the regional communities. Only this will make it possible to avoid the similarity of the post-Russian situation to the post-Soviet one, when personalist dictatorships were established in many republics,” the blogger believes.
“Let a variety of local parties be elected to the regional parliaments. But with their constant political competition, they will just prevent the emergence of some irremovable “leaders”. It is no coincidence that regional parties are banned in today’s Russia. I see the future United States of Siberia as a parliamentary confederation,” Vintsevskaya sums up. “And maybe only she will put an end to the Moscow colonial empire forever.”
You can agree or not with this approach, but the fact that the topic of the collapse of Russia is actively entering the blogosphere is an undoubted positive!
