Anti-imperial Block of Nations

Anne Applebaum, a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and journalist, is one of the most insightful scholars of authoritarian regimes. Long before 2022, she warned that Putin would not stop unless he was restrained by force. Anne wrote that Russia was preparing for revenge—first through gas, propaganda, and bribery of the elite, and then through war.

She predicted that Ukraine would become the decisive battle for European freedom, and that the Kremlin’s defeat could lead to the awakening of Russian society and the fall of the dictatorship.

In this video:

— Why the West ignored her warnings and what it cost the world.

— How Russia, step by step, built an authoritarian empire and prepared for war.

— Why defeat in Ukraine could be the beginning of the end of Putin’s regime.

— The role of society and fear in maintaining power.

— How support for Ukraine determines Europe’s security and the future of democracy.

This is not a call to action, but a profound analysis by a historian and authoritarian researcher about how the West’s mistakes led to the Great War and why it is not too late to change the course of history
