The Russian aggressors have reduced mobilization resources among representatives of national minorities due to losses at the front in the war against Ukraine.
This was said by the head of the press service of the 26th artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Kalashnikov on the information marathon broadcast. He drew attention to the fact that, based on statistics from OSINT and Ukrainian researchers, it is possible to conclude that there were many losses among representatives of national minorities, in particular Tuvans, Buryats and Yakuts, in the ranks of the Russian occupiers.
Kalashnikov noted that losses among national minorities are decreasing, but this does not indicate that they have begun to be mobilized less. This indicates that there are physically fewer of them, the military man noted. According to the military, some military commissars from these regions of the Russian Federation say that they have physically run out of mobilization resources. “That means, the fact that they constantly tried to purposely grind them down as the first ones in the ranks of the offensive, is true. They were simply not spared,” Kalashnikov emphasized.
According to him, in Russian regions with a higher standard of living, they did not really try to mobilize people to replenish the personnel. In particular, such a situation was observed in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
Kalashnikov said that the number of trained fighters who would launch a full-scale attack on Ukraine in 2022 has decreased, as many of them have already been eliminated or wounded.
The situation with the manpower of the occupiers
The representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence, Vadym Skibitsky, stated that about 1,000-1,100 people join the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation every day, that is, about 30,000 per month.
At the same time, Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence, stated that a recruiting campaign is underway in Russia, but the plan for mobilization measures is significantly behind schedule.
