Billionaire Trotsenko’s Unprofitable Company “Made Rich” the Kazan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. At the end of August, the League of Free Nations, which unites ethnic movements of indigenous people of Russia, released a 20-minute film on its YouTube channel entitled “Yakutia – the Cash Cow of the Russian Orthodox Church.” It mentions a deal that became known to representatives of the League: GeoProMining LLC, which operates in the republic, signed a charitable donation agreement with the Kazan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church last summer. The donation is allegedly 500 million rubles, which the company must allocate to the diocese in equal tranches – 100 million per quarter. The main narrator in the film, which was released on the League of Free Nations channel on 27 August is Raisa Zubareva, an activist, human rights defender and representative of the Free Yakutia Foundation. The main motive is the dire situation of the republic against the backdrop of the wealth that is mined on its territory. The company GeoProMining (GPM, the English version of the name GeoProMining will also be found in the text below) mentioned in the film, according to the authors, owns two subsidiaries in Yakutia – JSC Sarylakh-Surma and JSC Zvezda, which mine gold and antimony in local mines.
