Dear Friends!
The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Banderivtsi) congratulates all Ukrainians on the anniversary of the restoration of the Ukrainian State.
August 24, 1991 is the day that restored the thousand-year-old Ukrainian statehood and became the starting point of the new era of the Ukrainian Independent United State. Thirty-two years ago, it was difficult to predict that this new Ukrainian era would have a global character, and that Ukraine would become the cornerstone of world politics. This perspective was understood only by Ukrainian nationalists, who were well aware of Ukraine’s purpose “to create a new life on the border of two worlds.”
This border was clearly manifested as early as 2014, and from February 2022, it aggressively threatened the preservation of Ukrainian statehood. Together with the Ukrainian people, with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nationalists stood in defenсe of independence and unity.
Dear brothers and sisters! For the second year in a row, Ukraine celebrates Independence Day in conditions of a full-scale war with an ancient enemy, although we measure the duration of this war in centuries. After all, our Independence is not 32 years at all, but a millennium of the history of statehood, struggle, nobility and heroism.
We are proud that our Independence is a long-standing tradition of state-building and democracy. This is a God-blessed struggle for freedom, for the native land, language, faith and truth.
Our Independence is an endless Ukrainian World: from the Syan to the Don rivers, from the Caucasus Mountains to the Carpathians and to all continents! This is the greatness of ancient Kyiv and the glory of brave Zaporizhzhia, this is the power of Shevchenko’s words and the sacrifice of Konovalets and Bandera. This, after all, is the victory of thousands and thousands of Heroes of past generations and modern warfare. Heroes of the living and those who died on the field of glory.
And our Independence is the coming of a Great Ukrainian Victory! This is the final collapse of the Moscow evil empire and the creation of new states of free nations on its territory. This is the spread of power, glory, wealth and expanse of the Ukrainian State!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes!
