The Radarom campaign to raise funds for equipment for the Ukrainian military began in Lithuania. The money will be used for the purchase of the Lithuanian-made “Safe Soldier Kit”.
This is reported by LRT.
The action is organized by LRT together with the organizations Blue/Yellow, Laisvės TV, “Strong together”, as well as public figure and journalist Rita Miliute. Fundraising will continue until February 24.
“This year will be a triple victory – we will provide important equipment for the front, support Lithuanian manufacturers and show that our people are still ready to support our brothers and sisters in Ukraine,” said the founder of Laisvės TV, Andryus Tapinas.
The collected money will be spent on the purchase of the Lithuanian-made “Safe Soldier Kit”. The package will consist of a night vision monocular, a laser sight and a personal drone protection device. All professional equipment is manufactured in Lithuania. The cost of one set of “Safe Soldier” is 7,500 euros.
“Our people are not tired, we continue to support the fighting spirit of Ukrainian soldiers. We must do this, because their fighting spirit is a shield for us and all of Europe. We have the opportunity to support the Ukrainian army with equipment that is not produced elsewhere, but in Lithuania, and most importantly, which is extremely necessary for the front-line armed forces,” added Jonas Oman, the founder of the Blue/Yellow fund.
It is noted that by calling the special short number of the campaign 1485, you can make a contribution of five euros. You can get more detailed information on how to help on the website radarom.lt, and also make a bank transfer, indicating the purpose of the donation – radarom.
