Anti-imperial Block of Nations

The history of the coat of arms of Tatarstan has undergone many changes from the dragon Zilant, the lamb-leopard, the “peasant and worker” Baki Urmanche, the hammer and sickle, “Workers of all countries, unite” to today’s coat of arms of the Republic of Tatarstan with a white leopard. After the adoption of the Declaration of Sovereignty of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatar people needed a state symbol expressing the sovereignty of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan needed not only some kind of emblem-coat of arms but a symbol of the Tatar heritage that would show the past, talk about the present and guide the future. It would also revive the identity and traditions of the people of Tatarstan.

For many years, the coat of arms of Tatarstan has managed to remain one of the recognizable symbols of Tatarstan both in the Republic and abroad. But since 1992, Tatarstan has lost many positions from its “former” sovereignty and relative independence. The leaders of Tatarstan did not distinguish themselves with “nobility and frequency of thoughts”, “power and greatness” did not go beyond the Kazan Kremlin, the raised right leg, which also means starting a step “on the right foot”, unfortunately, did not lead to a good start for Tatarstan’s movement along the path updates, but returns more and more to the Middle Ages. The number of Tatars decreased by 600 thousand people, 2 million Tatars throughout Russia stopped speaking the Tatar language, and we were forced to study the Tatar language only as an optional language on our land. The Tatar people should not live only through losses and hardships! “Sharp teeth, claws and raised tail of Ak Bars” remind us of the confidence, love of freedom and success of the Tatar people. Now the Tatars need to unite and all fight together for independence from Muscovy of our Republic of Tatarstan and the preservation of our people as an ethnic group.

So the coat of arms of Tatarstan is not associated, by and large, only with the hockey club “Ak Bars”, the name and symbols of which are associated with the heraldry of the coat of arms of the Republic of Tatarstan. The coat of arms of the Independent Republic of Tatarstan would represent the intersection of roads of different people and would be the center of science, industrial innovation and culture.
