In Russia, substitutions of concepts have always been abused. Their people are currently reassuring themselves that the war took place in an empty place. Unfortunately, the place was not empty, but cursed, built up with all kinds of historical burial grounds emitting deadly energy. Avoiding a war with Russia after the collapse of the USSR was more difficult than not avoiding it. St. Augustine’s prophecy came true again: take away freedom, law and justice – and what will the state turn into, if not the largest armed band of robbers?
Ukraine needs to study Moscow’s strengths and weaknesses very seriously. To understand what factors will affect the collapse of the Russian Federation, the transformation of Russia and its matrix of symbolism. Unfortunately, the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to internationally recognized borders does not sterilize Russia’s aggressive revanchism.
