“This is an international human rights project. The exhibition is its visual element. The essence of the project is to convey to Ukrainian and international political circles, human rights activists, and the entire society information about the terrible repressions that are taking place on the territory of our enemy, on the territory of the so-called Russian Federation.”

“One of the banners depicts a well-known figure in the Buryat national liberation movement, Natalia Filonova. This year she was released from prison, which she served in very difficult conditions. Natalia Filonova has supported Ukraine all her life, in particular since 2014,” said Oleg Vitvitsky.

Local resident Olena Shevchenko came to the opening of the exhibition.

“It was important to come to the exhibition and see Russia’s crimes against humanity, human freedom, and enslavement. I feel sorry for people’s lack of freedom. Being yourself, appreciating your roots — Russia believes that this is a crime,” noted Olena Shevchenko.
