Leontiy Shypilov, the coordinator of the “Freedom of Nations” project, believes that the necessary prerequisite and, at the same time, the result of the Ukrainian victory in the war is the deconstruction of Russia: bringing it to such a geopolitical, military, economic and humanitarian-demographic state that it will not pose a threat to national security of Ukraine.
“One of the tools of Russia’s deconstruction is the decolonization of the peoples enslaved by Moscow and the emergence of new national states on its modern territory,” emphasizes Leontiy Shypilov. – In particular, the activity of Ukrainian diplomacy should be aimed at affirming the position that the disintegration of Russia is an inevitable, objective and desirable process. In order to reduce its chaos and conflict, it should take place with the participation and under the auspices of the world community.”
A good precedent is the situation related to the support of Ichkeria, according to Shypilov: “Ukraine has already announced its non-recognition of the occupation of the territory of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria by the Russian Federation in a parliamentary statement dated October 18, 2022. Time for others. Ukraine can and should act as a representative in the international arena of the newly recognized states”.
