The beginning of the last month of the summer of 2024 seems hot. Putin’s mercenaries are acquiring more coffins. The landing of famous dignitaries continues. Russian political prisoners are exchanged for a murderer, spies and crooks. Putin’s friends are being beaten sometimes in Mali, then in Bangladesh. But the most important matter – is happening in Ukraine and Russia. The Kursk region is no longer the Russian Federation. Ukrainian flags are raised over Russian villages. The troops of the Russian Federation leave the five thousand population of Suzha. “Learn the language, prepare for the referendum.”
Not a submarine, but an area
Since the end of July, there has been an appearance of calm on the main front. However, actions by Ukrainian drones continued. In particular, the NGO Automation in Yekaterinburg, which produces automation and control systems for sea-based and mine-based intercontinental ballistic missiles, was hit.
The “Wagner gang” was defeated in Mali. The Tuareg winners were conspicuously photographed with the flag of Ukraine. International solidarity of liberation movements in action. The position of the ABN on the deployment of the anti-Kremlin, anti-imperial struggle on all continents is confirmed.
In the same days, four launchers of the S-400 “Triumph” air defence system were damaged in the Russian Federation. And the Rostov-on-Don submarine assigned to Sevastopol is now celebrating its triumph at the bottom of the Black Sea.
All this turned out to be a prelude. On 6 August, the Kursk region of Russia felt the breath of war. This became the essence of the day.
The 22nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces broke through the border of the Russian Federation and moved deep into Kurshchyna. On the first day, eleven settlements were taken. Runet was filled with fierce cries of “soldiers”. The next day, the small but operationally significant city of Suja surrendered. Also, a gas measuring station and an adjacent railway junction.
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation got confused in relaying the facts. They announce the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Kursk region (note: their retreat, not their offensive). They are removing this text from their official site. Gerasimov promises Putin to “cross the state border” (he no longer dreams of that). But in military terms, at the time of writing this text, the troops of the Russian Federation could not oppose the Ukrainian 22nd brigade. Medvedev’s temples and pitiful appeals to the West — Ukrainians are beating us poor people, hurting us, help! — this is all that the Kremlin finds in response so far.
Stopping the export of Russian gas to Europe? Easing the pressure in the Kharkiv and Donbas region? Entrenchment on the bridgehead of Russian territory will become clear in the coming days. But it is already clear: the war has come to Russia seriously, and for a long time, the aggressor will be forced to defend itself.
“We reconcile predators with the sword” is the motto of the 22nd OMR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “We calm the predators with the sword”. This is the whole point of the Armed Forces operation. This is the essence of the war that Ukraine is waging.
It is not surprising that against this background there were reports of protests in North Ossetia. Local public figures called for publicizing the figure of losses and stopping the appeal of the residents of the republic to an “SVO” (Special Military Operation). Few people are ready to give up their lives for the imperial abomination of the Kremlin.
The new elite without gadgets
Even before the Kursk events, it was clear: that the occupiers’ resources were dwindling. The authorities announced the campaign “Bring a volunteer and get 100 thousand rubles.” However, in St. Petersburg, they do it more easily: they forcefully force their friends to surrender, otherwise, they will be deprived of the bonus or fired.
Putin promised to pay 400,000 rubles to the would-be looters himself. The region authorities are recommended to pay 400,000 more than that. That is, at least 800 thousand, and in reality even more. There are funerals and other things in the same spirit. In St. Petersburg, for example, the amount is 2.5 million.
But not everything is buttermilk for the cat. Gadgets will be taken from those who agree to die for the Führer at the front. So that you are not itching to go online and call your relatives. There are already phones damaged with shots. The logic in the actions of the army leadership is obvious: these devices were created in the soulless West. You will know too much, and will have too much to think about. Even if it is made in China… However, aggression with Beijing does not prevent Putin from handing over the Russian taiga to Xi Jinping’s bigots.
Though the surviving occupants get bonuses. For example, the Kremlin’s interim ruler recently instructed to consider the possibility of involving participants in the war in Ukraine in educational work with children. Fortunately, there are a lot of paedophiles and rapists among them. The traditions of Putinism are preserved and multiplied. However, “matchmakers” in Russia are regularly beaten. Most often on the street, but even with the police. News of this kind has ceased to be sensational. The deep-seated people find ways to express their sympathy for the regime and its policies. So far, in a restrained form with a muzzle.
Arrest of park patriots
It has already been established that another friend of Shoigu should be arrested every month. This time, Dmytro Bulgakov, who turned 9 million rations into his pocket money of 1.3 billion rubles. An art gallery was found in the commander’s house, where the faces of Shoigu, Gerasimov, Tsalikov, Shevtsova and Bulgakov himself look out at the viewer from the paintings. Most of those involved have been removed from their positions, and some have been arrested. Good company picked up.
Dmytro Saveliev, who served in the Federation Council for seventeen years, was detained. They took him right there. It is reported that he paid 100,000 dollars to a former FSVP employee for the murder of a business partner. They have cheerful customs there in the parliament. It is rare for them to be innocent: no one is killed, but Saveliev is sitting. His hysterical love for Putin did not help him avoid prison. It is not for nothing that there has been a saying in Russia for a long time: “Those who love Putin are not loved even by Putin himself.”
On 5 August the director of the “Patriot” park, Vyacheslav Akhmedov, was arrested. Major General Volodymyr Nesterov was added to the pile. The deputy head of the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defence turned out to be too innovative. In Putin’s Russian Federation of the “SVO” era, this is not welcome. The detainees allegedly stole budget money. They found something surprising, and even for pennies: 40 million rubles. Not seriously. But that is unpatriotic.
Great exchange
Once upon a time: “The hooligan was traded for Louis Corvalan.” Now: “People were exchanged here for murderers and bl@єey.” Corvalans are far in the past. But such comparisons are offensive to bullies. Although it is worth being happy for Oleksandr Skochylenko.
Practically all those exchanged represent the opposition of a peaceful protest, shaking hands — i.e. ridiculously patient. Of course, Putin did not risk releasing the fighters. It is not surprising that immediately after their arrival, Ilya Yashin and Andriy Pyvovarov started talking about how bad it is to impose sanctions on the Russian Federation, how the jailers are normal men at heart, how you should not donate to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and in general, the tricolor is sacred. In principle, Pivovarov can be passed over, because he is not a figure. But Yashin also said that freedom will come suddenly, you just have to wait. Volodymyr Kara-Murza outlined this strategy even more clearly. He even defined the term: “It will fall in three days” – but he did not specify in which year.
In general, “Russian politicians”… It is common knowledge: everyone who accepts the legality of the Russian Federation is working for the enemy. The rest are details. But let’s emphasize the important fact: one of the dismissed people, Oleg Orlov, made a decent speech.
The political prisoner pianist Pavlo Kushnir, who died of dry starvation in the Birobidzhan pre-trial detention centre, will not see sudden freedom in his earthly life. Of course, he was not on the list for exchange. Neither was Daria Trepova, Ruslan Zinin, nor other prisoners of conscience and struggle.
As for the opposite side, there is nothing to comment on. Facebook killer Vadim Krasikov is a real hero of the Russian state. Although it is not clear why the empire abandons its other heroes. For example, the court recently deprived Irek Magasumov of the title of Hero of Russia. A member of “SVO” only killed an 18-year-old girl, for which he was imprisoned for 11 years. Instead, he headed back to the front. Vladlen Tatarsky laughs from hell. But, probably, he would be indignant: why do they renounce the hero? What is there to be ashamed of? “We don’t abandon our own people” … Yeah, how about that?
For whom justice
The former “system political prisoners” are crucified in vain. Their time coincided. Even if you imagine that it used to leak out. Resistance to Putin’s tyranny continues. Including in the rear.
On 30 July, as a result of a partisan operation, four electrical substations in the occupied Crimea caught fire at the same time. On 1 August, an oil plant was set on fire in Omsk. Ukrainian UAVs? Far from the front… On 6 August, a fire engulfed the Transnaft company in Usynsk. Around the same days, the Pravo Sila group burned four transformers on the Moscow Railway. RDK also organized several similar actions. We are not talking about the main activity directly at the front).
Kurshchyna is a pen test. The approach of new times is palpably felt. Yashin and Pyvovarov are not bringing us closer. History is written by Denys Nikitin and Darya Trepova, Maximilian Andronnikov and Ildar Dadin. Despite all differences, they are fighting for the liberation of all peoples.
Bangladesh just showed the way. The rebellious street overthrew the government of Putin’s friend Hasin Vazed. Putin’s regime, along with all satellites, will be destroyed together. All over the world. Predators will be subdued by the sword.
