Anti-imperial Block of Nations

At a meeting of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a draft resolution was adopted on the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the countries of the world, the United Nations, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and other international organizations and their interparliamentary assemblies on the need to decolonize Russia and support the national liberation struggle of enslaved nations. This was announced by the Committee chairman, National Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Merezhko.

“Condemning the Russian colonial policy and policy of genocide against enslaved nations, based on the right of colonial nations to self-determination, taking into account the fact that the Russian Federation, despite its official name, is not a federation, but a colonial empire that continues the practice of the Russian Empire and the totalitarian Soviet methods of suppressing national liberation movements of enslaved nations, – the document says, – Ukraine can establish diplomatic relations with sovereign nations who, exercising their right to self-determination, will leave the Russian Federation.”

Based on this, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appeals to the countries of the world, the United Nations, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and other international organizations and their inter-parliamentary assemblies with a call to recognize the right of enslaved colonial nations on the territory of Russia to self-determination and separation from the Russian Empire, which constitutes a serious threat to the existence of these nations and the world; to promote the decolonization of Russia and the national liberation struggle of the enslaved colonial nations of Russia; condemn the crimes of colonialism that Russia has committed throughout its history and continues to commit against enslaved colonial nations; contribute to the de-racialization of Russia, since the aggressive ideology of racism is the basis of the colonial expansion of the Russian Empire and its policy of genocide against other nations.
After discussions within the relevant Committee, the draft Resolution will be considered at one of the plenary sessions of the Ukrainian Parliament.
