Anti-imperial Block of Nations

The famous great British statesman and thinker E. Burke, who lived in the difficult post-Mazepa era (1729-1796), wrote: “The era of chivalry has passed, the era of sophists, shopkeepers and calculators is coming…”

He wrote the truth, but is the era of chivalry gone forever? Does not the spirit of Mazepa live on in our people?

Nikita Sergiyevich Khrushchev, also famous, but the great executioner of Ukraine and the tyrant of Budapest, in 1964 in Gothenburg (Sweden) shouted: “The dead are rising from the graves! Do you want to follow in the footsteps of Mazepa and Charles XII in the war against Russia?” – pointing a finger at the prime minister of Sweden.

What was Khrushchev afraid of? When the dead rise from the graves, and he meant us, the living, Ukrainians, was it necessary to raise such a cry? When Mazepa, they say, belongs to the unique past, should we be afraid of his great spirit?

These two paintings – E. Burke’s sad resignation that the era of heroic knights is passing, and Khrushchev’s fear before the resurrecting spirit of Mazepa in our days – indicate that the era of our decline and infamy, humiliation and uninformed hopelessness, which is before our eyes, has already ended, and that the great and heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people for freedom and statehood is being revived: the fighters for the freedom of Ukraine in 1910-1921 were followed by new cohorts of UPA fighters, members of the OUN, and modern new generations in Ukraine are also coming…

The shadow of the great Hetman Mazepa, whose ideas were resurrected in the Ukrainian liberation movement, fell on the tyrant ruler of the Moscow Empire in an oppressive haze. The spectre of communism still roams across Europe, but the fear of the new Mazepаnism, the fear of the resurgent Kyiv, brought the tyrant out of balance, which largely led to the fact that he soon fell headlong from his throne.

The only thing that Khrushchev achieved with his speech in Gothenburg was that he mobilized Muscovites of all colours to the anti-Ukrainian front, reminding them of the threat posed by Ukraine to the Muscovite Empire.

Moscow was also frightened by our second front abroad, which we, together with unanimous support in the free world, are organizing to help the first front in the Native Lands.

“The idea of Russia is the idea of a just social life, the idea of truth on earth. That is the originality and historical destiny of Russia… its eternal ideal…” lament the NTS (the National Labour Union) ideologues.

So, communism, as an imperialist and messianic idea of Russia, has not yet disappeared, but the NTS is already preaching a “new” messianism and a new form of Russian imperialism, if we do not mention Berdyaev’s “Christian messianism” (Russia, they say, must “convert the world to true Christianity”).

Our liberating concept, the concept of the collapse of the Moscow Empire and the restoration of independent sovereign national states on its ruins, fully corresponds with the historical process: it is fair, the most progressive in our era. It does not oppose historical development, on the contrary, it goes hand in hand with it, and stimulates it.

Kyiv against Moscow! – the most revolutionary slogan of our time, which means the restoration of national states and the collapse of the prison of nations; in other words, liberating nationalism against invading imperialism.

Kyiv against Moscow! – a slogan that means heroic militant Christianity against militant atheism, the idea of man as a God-like being against a soulless, beast-like being, a member of the unstructured herd.

Kyiv against Moscow! – a slogan that means an idealistic, heroic way of life under the sign of noble ideas, eternal, endurable values and social justice against beastly misanthropy, materialism, exploitation and oppression.

Kyiv against Moscow! – the slogan, which means the world of truth, freedom and honour, resembles the Cossack battle cry “To win glory, to liberate brothers” in the fight against tyranny, slavery, lies and deception, against the false Bolshevik robbery slogan: “Rob the looted”.

Our universal slogan “Freedom for nations! Freedom for the individual!” completely harmonizes with the slogans “Kyiv against Moscow!”, “Saint Sophia against the Kremlin!” – these are significant symbols of two opposing worlds: the world of freedom and justice and the world of tyranny and slavery.

This deadly multifaceted conflict between Kyiv and Moscow takes place in Ukraine and throughout the USSR in all spheres of life of the Ukrainian nation and the Ukrainian person. Ukraine is always in a constant, primarily ideological, war with Moscow.

That conflict between Kyiv and Moscow affects almost the entire world, everywhere where the forces of goodness, justice, faith in God and the nation clash with opposing forces. In the world-political cross-section, Kyiv symbolizes one system of ideas, and Moscow the second, the opposite. Kyiv symbolizes the idea of free national states, and Moscow – the world prison of nations, the slavery and subjugation of all nations, towards which it is aiming in different ways, using all the methods and means available.

In the most pronounced depths, this conflict affects our native lands, the struggle in Ukraine is about the essential factors and elements that we rely on in our foreign policy activities and appeal to them. Without this element of strength in the Native Lands, our foreign policy could not be successful.

Another element of force is the mass action of our emigration, every Ukrainian institution or organization, every Ukrainian person, who, with their anti-Russian and anti-communist directives, documents the separate identity and sovereignty of the Ukrainian subject, contrary to the centuries-old Russian pseudo-school of thought, contrary to all those who falsify the history of the Ukrainian nation. Neither our academics nor politicians would have been able to correct all those falsifications of the red and white Muscovites in the free world in such a short time, if they did not have behind them, in addition to the capital of the liberation struggle in Ukraine, the support of Ukrainian society abroad.

Was it not by the will of Providence that a mass Ukrainian emigration appeared in the free countries of the Western world, so that in free democratic countries, where broad public opinion is important, the truth can be told about the Moscow colonial empire, about its terror and persecution of the enslaved nations and the liberation struggle of our nation.

Our liberation struggle has entered a new stage – the stage of resistance by the broad masses of people, workers, intelligentsia, youth, in particular students, to the stage of clashes with the Moscow-Bolshevik imperialist tyrants. The years 1942-1950 were the stage of broad insurgent actions, and an open, armed struggle against the occupier, which – starting from 1950 – passed into the stage of modified, deep political and social struggle, which is manifested in all areas of the life of the Ukrainian people. An appropriate internal or external opportunity, or both together, can create favourable conditions for an armed national liberation revolution and its successful conclusion.

Moscow, uncertain about the future fate of its empire, which is experiencing a severe internal crisis caused by the revolutionary forces of the enslaved nations, is looking for support and consolidation from the Western free states, in particular the United States, to get them to confirm the inviolability and indivisibility of its empire’s possessions.

Not only do we, the Ukrainian political emigration, understand this, understand the modern politics of Moscow and the young generation of Ukraine, which stands up for Ukrainian ideas and the Ukrainian people. Russification and Bolshevization in Ukraine are constantly failing. Moscow failed to “re-educate” the Ukrainian youth in the spirit and ideas of Marxism-Leninism and Moscow imperialism. They live, albeit secretly, with the ideas of Kyiv, the ideas of Khmelnytskyi, Mazepa, Shevchenko, Petliura and Bandera. These are the ideas of truth, freedom, justice, ideas of national patriotism, ideas of deep faith in God’s Providence, which our nation has lived by for many centuries and continues to live by.

The ideas of the Ukrainian liberation movement OUN, UPA, and ABN are now being implemented throughout the lands of Ukraine, as evidenced by the ever-increasing resistance to the Moscow occupiers. Opposition to Russification in Ukrainian universities through resistance and demonstrations by students of Kyiv and Lviv is known to everyone, we also know of the protest of cultural workers in Ukraine against Russification, which caused mass arrests in Kyiv, Lviv and other cities of Ukraine last year. So, Ukraine lives and fights.

The heroic struggle of the OUN-UPA created the prerequisites for nationwide resistance, the blows of which Moscow is feeling ever more strongly and forcefully. Mass deportations of Ukrainian patriots to Siberia and Kazakhstan will no longer help Moscow, because the concept of the ABN, which is, the concept of a common front of enslaved nations in the fight against Moscow, enables action on foreign territory against a common enemy.

Our slogan: Kyiv against Moscow! – a sacred cry that mobilizes the Ukrainian nation and other nations enslaved by Moscow to fight against the Moscow imperialist tyrants, for the destruction of the Moscow prison of nations and the restoration of independent sovereign national states in the “circle of free nations of the world”.
