About 280 Crimean political prisoners remain in Russian prisons. Lenie Umerova, a Crimean Tatar released from captivity, told about this in an exclusive interview with “We-Ukraine”.
According to her, 212 of them are Crimean Tatars.
“This number is not final, because many prisoners are not known. Some are not media, some, like me, were just crossing the border and were detained. Among those we know about, there are 280,” Umerova said.
