Putin’s war of aggression against Ukraine simply turns the emotions of all reasonable people.
The petty bastard, together with his war criminals in uniform, does not have any acceptable solutions to get out of the catastrophic situation he created. Accordingly, in practice, they use exclusive methods of non-selective terror with the most dire consequences.
It hardly makes sense to expect anything positive from political work in the Kremlin, but there have not yet been any open protest activities among Russians, although part of the military-political group of the Russian Federation is aware of the scale of the hidden anti-Putin social sector and is exploring opportunities to speak out against the toxic bankrupt.
Now it seems that Putin has outplayed everyone and in March 2024, through another farce, his rule will be extended again for 6 years, but it seems that not everything is going smoothly. It is becoming increasingly difficult to tolerate a sick politician, and the first signs of preparations for eliminating this vestige have emerged. The decisive role here is played by military operations against the Ukrainian people.
A protracted positional war and a reliance on ‘meat’ assaults to capture ruins are evidence of the collapse of Putinism’s military strategy. Attempts to correct the situation with new acts of rocket terror against Ukrainian cities only strengthen Putin’s image as the leader of Russian Hamas.
On 29 December, massive shelling of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnepr, Odessa, Lviv, and Zaporizhzhia with 158 missiles and drones led to the death of 17 (as of the morning of 31 December, already 19 dead) people in only one Ukrainian capital.

Dozens of Kremlin propagandists praised the deadly “successes” of Shoigu’s team in every possible way, mocking the idea of bringing the tragedy to the UN Security Council for consideration. If we analyze the deep motives of the terror against Ukraine, we get the feeling that work is underway to finally discredit Putin in the eyes of the world community, in order to at some point flush out the monster.
The controversial events of 30 December in Belgorod fit into this concept. Even a schoolchild understands that terrorist attacks on Ukrainian cities will provoke a response and acts of retaliation in order to prevent the recurrence of such horror.
This is the usual scheme: action – response to it. Therefore, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was ready for such a plot, but for some reason, in the literal sense, they almost deliberately missed the answer.
Firstly, the GRU and the FSB are monitoring the situation of the Ukrainian military movements in the border area, especially in Kharkiv, which is an endless nightmare. However, on New Year’s Eve, vigilance was somehow deliberately relaxed in this area adjacent to Belgorod.
Secondly, Russian air defense works extremely crookedly. The main means of defence against air strikes have been thrown at Moscow, while in the regions adjacent to Ukraine the situation is deplorable. That’s why people died in Belgorod on 30 December, because the Russian air defence, as had happened before, worked on its own.
As a result, more than 20 died. This is a huge reputational blow to Putin, who is unable to protect Russians by waging an aggressive war of conquest. That’s why the UN shows zero reaction to Nebenzi’s quirks.
Considering the resonance in Belgorod, when every dog in Russia expressed their concerns, Putin was silent. Of course, he doesn’t care about the lives of a few citizens of the front-line zone, because he is the grandmaster of big geopolitics.
But his internal reputation is under attack, because… as you can clearly see: Putin is no protector of the country.
Then why is it needed at all?
