“The military events exacerbated the issue of the inevitability of Buryatia gaining sovereignty. Two years ago, this issue was in a latent stage. At present, the topic of the need for Buryatia to withdraw from the Russian Federation does not raise questions from the majority, including many representatives of Russian and other nations living on the territory of Buryatia, Nadezhda Nizovkina believes. – It is necessary to accumulate these sentiments in order to make a breakthrough towards gaining independence by Buryatia.
In the case of sovereignty, none of the nationalities living in the territory of Buryatia will be infringed. The same applies to linguistic diversity. However, the Buryat language will acquire the status of the only state language. Representatives of all nations disloyal to the new state will leave Buryatia voluntarily, the rest will enjoy equal rights.
The acquisition of independence by Buryatia and, subsequently, other national republics of the Russian Federation, will lead to an early end to the war between Russia, within the new borders, and Ukraine».
