During January, 16 illegal arrests were recorded in Crimea, reports the Crimean Tatar Resource Center

Of these, 11 arrests were made against representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people. According to the organization, during the month, 4 searches, 2 cases of detention and four interrogations were recorded in Crimea. There are also 3 cases of violation of rights to the highest degree possible of physical and mental health. In addition, the KRC noted that during January, 14 cases of violating the right to a fair trial were recorded, 11 of which were against representatives of the Crimean Tatar people.
