“We want the people themselves to determine their vote of confidence in the new elites,” the organizers noted.
Applications can be sent to the email address refpostrussia2023@gmail.com until June 15, 2023.
“In some cases, it could be established historical figures like Yevgeny Roizman in the Ural region or Sergei Furgal in the Khabarovsk Krai. For some, it could be Alexei Navalny or Mikhail Khodorkovsky. In certain regions, it could be current governors or other representatives of regional authorities, moral authorities, or civil activists,” explained representatives of the Organizing Committee.
After processing the submitted proposals and forming final lists of potential leaders of the republics’ transitional governments, an online vote will take place on the website https://referendum2023.site/ to determine the level of trust in the candidates in each region.
According to Oleg Dundya, a People’s Deputy who supports the implementation of the right to independence for Russian regions and national republics from the Ukrainian side, after the results of the online vote are announced, the leaders of the survey will be tasked with the mission of legalizing the sovereignties voted for by the residents of these five regions in February 2023.
“The main objective we set for this vote is to determine the circle of individuals who, on the one hand, are capable of leading the new states and, on the other hand, enjoy people’s trust. After conducting the online survey, negotiations and contacts will be established precisely with these personalities,” the deputy said.
The Organizing Committee notes that after the primaries are completed, they plan to extend this practice to other national republics and regions that wish to join the independence referendum project.
