Even people who are not interested in politics and who do not disdain working in the state bodies of the prison of peoples began to understand that during the mobilization, the genocide of the indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation takes place. The Telegram channel Kush Tau online published a letter from one such person, an employee of the military registration and enlistment office in the Republic of Bashkortostan, confirming that these are not “excesses on the ground”, but a targeted approach.
“It is becoming more and more obvious,” he writes, “that the Bashkir peasants are being raked out to the front by entire villages. At work, cases with Russian names and surnames were regularly returned to me, until the list included guys with Bashkir and Tatar names and surnames.
The military commissar called me into the office and said that there was an oral order from above to mobilize mainly Bashkirs and Tatars. It was said in an official tone. I was dumbfounded by such a statement – I asked for an explanation. The military commissar, obviously irritated and dissatisfied, said that Russians in the lists of those mobilized should not be more than 10% – that is, one Russian for ten Bashkirs and Tatars».
After this incident, an employee of the military commissariat informs, the military commissar began to carefully check all the lists for compliance with quotas.
