Russian propaganda is spreading a fake screenshot of a petition that allegedly appeared on the website of the official online representation of the President of Ukraine with a call to “recognize Israel’s war crimes against the people of Palestine.”
This is stated in the message of the Center for Combating Disinformation.
According to Russian propagandists, the author of the petition was allegedly the Head of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, Supreme Mufti of Ukraine Ahmed Tamim.
It’s actually a fake. The petition with the relevant content is not available on the President’s website. In addition, it is also not on the official pages of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine.
By creating such fakes, Russian propaganda is trying to cause an inter-religious conflict on the territory of Ukraine.
