The republic within Moscow is not statehood

In Russia, they are trying to develop the thesis that the Buryat statehood was formed on May 30, 1923, when the Bolsheviks created the USSR.
It is not true. The Buryat statehood was formed before the Soviet Union on April 25, 1917, by the decision of the First All-Buryat Congress (Burnatsky), then the independent State of Buryat-Mongolia was formed.
Unfortunately, this state did not last long. As a result of the occupation in 1918 by Kolchak’s army and the formation of the Far Eastern Republic in 1920, the State of Buryat-Mongolia was split into two parts. Right-Bank Buryatia was under the control of the White Army, Left-Bank – the Bolsheviks.
Therefore, to say that the Buryat statehood begins from the Soviet Union on May 30, 1923 (100 years) is at least illogical.
BURYATIA WILL BE INDEPENDENT.
