On February 10, Bandera readings will be held: liquidation of the Russian empire with the participation of explorers of the imperial space and nations enslaved by Moscow. The event is organized by the non-governmental analytical centre “Ukrainian Studios of Strategic Studies”. The participants of the event will discuss the inevitable collapse of Russia and the prerequisites that make it a real future. The focus of “Bandera readings” is focused in three directions:
– Prospects for self-determination of nations enslaved by Russia
– The Russian-Ukrainian War as the main impetus for the destruction of the empire
– Consequences of the collapse of Russia for Ukraine, neighbouring states and the whole world
The broadcast of the event will begin at 18:30.
Participants:
Janusz Bugajski, senior researcher at the Jamestown Foundation in Washington, head of the Southern and Central European Studies Program at the Diplomatic Service Institute of the US State Department, and author of the bestseller “The Failing State. Instructions for dismantling Russia”;
Yuriy Syrotyuk, director of the non-governmental analytical centre “Ukrainian Studies of Strategic Studies”, National Deputy of Ukraine of the 7th convocation, junior sergeant-grenadier of the 5th separate assault brigade of the Kyiv Armed Forces;
Yurii Oliynyk, international political scientist, candidate of political sciences, head of research programs of the National Center for Strategic Studies of Ukraine;
Rostyslav Martyniuk, publicist, TV journalist, researcher of Eastern Finno-Hungarian identities, deputy chairman of the Kyiv society “Erzyan Val”;
Oleksandr Chupak, financial analyst, head of economic programmes of the National Center for Strategic Studies of Ukraine.
“The size of Russia gained by centuries of imperial conquests and colonization is a fundamental structural weakness. Instead of building a stable, legal and productive state, all Russian regimes focused on expanding the borders of Muscovy and enslaving various regions and nationalities within the borders of the empire,” emphasizes the American researcher of the dismemberment of Russia, Janusz Bugajskyi. He is also convinced that Russia cannot win a war against Ukraine: “I believe that the regime will exhaust its power, keeping the country from collapsing. Internal pressure will increase. We will see a struggle between the Kremlin and its opponents in the army and in the special services. Between rival nationalist and imperial factions. Between Moscow and several dissatisfied republics, even regions inhabited by Russians. We already saw this during the riot of the handsome man last summer. And also on the examples of deaths of oligarchs and high-ranking officials, frequent army purges, reshuffles and open disputes in military structures.”
This is detailed in individual speeches and discussions of the speakers. In addition, at the Bandera readings, “Liquidation of the Russian Empire” will present a book of the same name, which includes articles by scientists, veterans, active military personnel, and representatives of enslaved nations. The names of the winners of the essay contest for young people “A world without Russia – new challenges and prospects” will also be announced. You can read the best works of the contestants in the book.
