Anti-imperial Block of Nations

Belarus is Ukraine that failed. Not a history of resistance, but a chronicle of gradual capitulation. While Ukraine is fighting for freedom with weapons in hand, Belarus has been losing itself for decades without a fight, including its own language, history, and national dignity. In this blog, we will tell you how the empire — first Russian, then Soviet, and now Putin’s — purposefully destroyed Belarusian identity. How, over several decades, they erased the memory of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, replaced symbols, and deported and physically destroyed the intelligentsia. How Lukashenko turned an independent state into a colony of the Kremlin — and why the people agreed to remain silent. Why do millions call themselves Belarusians — but do not speak Belarusian, do not know their history, do not have national myths — and do not consider this a problem? We will remember the “three lost Brests” — three great historical chances that could have changed the fate of Belarus. But all three were wasted. We will tell you whether Belarus could have become a strong European state — and what prevented it. Why even the 2020 protests did not become a point of national awakening. The Belarusian scenario is not just someone else’s tragedy. It is a warning to us. A story about what could have happened to Ukraine — and what could happen if we stop. After all, we have a common enemy with the Belarusians — and he is sitting in Moscow.
