On the first day of spring, the Intellectual Renaissance club organised a discussion on the prospects for the collapse of the Moscow quasi-empire. The speakers at the event were Vasyl Kmet, a candidate of historical sciences and director of the Lviv Municipal Library, and Kazimierz Wojciecki, a professor at the University of Warsaw, a publicist, and a historian. The discussion covered the nature of Moscow’s imperialism, internal and external factors that could contribute to the collapse of the quasi-empire, and Ukraine’s role in this process. Considerable attention was paid to issues of identity, ideology, the destruction of imperial myths, and the struggle for consciousness. Interesting and original thoughts were expressed during the discussion. Experts noted the crucial importance of a Ukrainian victory over the aggressor for the demise of the Moscow quasi-empire. Therefore, Ukraine, as a bastion of European civilization, has an exceptional role in overcoming Russian imperialism, which is a threat to the entire civilized world. Everything is in our hands.
