Chechen commander Muslim Madiyev, who is fighting in Ukraine, believes that Russia should break up after all. According to him, there is no point in talking with the Russians, because they will still deceive.
“Yes, yes, of course. It is impossible to talk to them, to hold a conversation with them, they will deceive. You cannot negotiate with them. If you negotiate with Russia, you have to put them on a lower level so that they know that you will climb in there and hit them on the head,” he said in an interview with “RBK-Ukraine”.
The commander also emphasized that there is no question of freezing the war because the Russian Federation will prepare and come again.
“If they feel that they can, they will come again. It is necessary to create a grey zone, so that there are 200 kilometres between you, and drive them back to Moscow,” Madiev explained.
In addition, he recalled how the Chechen armed forces managed to defeat the Russian Federation during the First Chechen War.
“They were weak at that time. They immediately found peacekeeper Lebedev and decided to stop. We also thought that they would stop, we won, we had an operation in Grozny, and in one night we surrounded all the units that were there. They had nowhere to go, they went to the negotiations,” said the soldier.
At that time, the Russians said that they would capture Grozny in two hours, but on the contrary, the Chechen troops managed to do it in one day. Madiyev once again reiterated that the conflict cannot be frozen under any circumstances.
“They must be finished, brought to the end. Katsap will only understand that way. He must be beaten, your army must be trained. You should overpower Russia so that they can never unite again. Russia, in fact, is now showing itself for what it is. In order to re-educate him (a Russian – UNIAN), he must be sent to a concentration camp. They say one thing today, another tomorrow, and no one can ever question them,” the commander added.
When he was asked if he believed that he would return to free Chechnya, he answered:
“It’s not that I do not believe, I will come and liberate her.”
At the same time, according to him, this will happen after Ukraine wins.
“I do not doubt that Ukraine will win now. We will fight to the end until we win, otherwise we and our children will have nowhere to live,” the commander assured.
The first Russian-Chechen war: what is known
In December 1994, Russia signed the decree “On measures to ensure legality, law and order and public safety in the territory of the Chechen Republic.” After that, the troops of the Russian Federation entered the territory of Chechnya, as a result of which the war began.
The result of this conflict was the “peace treaty” in Khasavyut, which was signed in the summer of 1996. Moscow capitulated, because the Russian army then lost about 15 thousand soldiers, killed, and 2000-3000 people were left with disabilities. As for the exact losses of the Chechen civilian population, there is no exact information, but experts estimated from many tens of thousands to more than a hundred thousand civilians in the country.
The war in Ukraine: the latest news
As UNIAN wrote, The Times newspaper wrote that Russia is carrying out massive drone attacks on Kharkiv, as it plans to destroy the city and conquer it. Thus, the journalists gave an example of the Russian propagandist Volodymyr Solovyov’s words, who declared that “Kharkiv should be wiped off the face of the earth.”
In addition, the General Staff said that the enemy increased pressure on the Ukrainian bridgehead in the Kherson region. Over the past day, the enemy has carried out 8 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops in this direction.
