Anti-imperial Block of Nations

11th October is the Republic Day of Bashkortostan. Thirty-five years ago, the Declaration of State Sovereignty was adopted, but what remains of these promises? In this video, we will explain how the federal centre seized control over Bashkortostan’s resources, economy, education, and culture. We’ll also explore why the people of the republic found themselves in a colonial situation, and how independence could have saved the Bashkir people. Republic Day is more than just a holiday. It’s a time to remember what our republic has been deprived of over the past 35 years, and why only independence will give its people a chance for the future.
