The Government of Tatarstan (in exile) appealed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyj to recognize the Independence of the new state – the Republic of Tatarstan. On behalf of the new subject of international law, the appeal was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan (in exile) Rafis Kashapov.
– Why does Rafis-aby consider it necessary to achieve complete independence of Tatarstan from the Russian post-empire?
– When and how will the Tatars receive this sovereignty?
– How will the issue of access to international borders be resolved if neighbouring regions cannot escape Moscow’s control?
