On 12 February, on the premises of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, a panel discussion will be held on the topic “Activities of the Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the development of state policy regarding the enslaved nations of the Russian Federation.” The purpose of the panel discussion is to develop concepts for the formation and development of Ukrainian state policy in the sphere of support for the enslaved indigenous nations of the so-called “Russian Federation”, to present the draft law “On the basic principles of the state policy of Ukraine regarding interaction with the national movements of the enslaved nations of the Russian Federation”, and to discuss the activities and work plans of the parliamentary TSK.
Ukrainian National deputies, academics and public and political figures are invited to participate in the discussion: deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yaroslav Yurchyshyn and Mykola Velychkovych, chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, director of the Institute of State and Law named after V. Koretsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypnyuk, executive director of the Anti-Imperial Bloc of Nations Oleh Vitvitskyi, director of the Ukrainian Strategic Research Studies Yuriy Syrotyuk, coordinator of the project “Freedom of Nations” Leontiy Shypilov and others.
