Akhmed Zakaev visited Kharkiv Oblast and held a number of meetings with the authorities and the Defense Forces

On June 6, 2023, the Russians shelled several regions of Ukraine and blew up the Kakhovskaya HPP. Akhmed Zakaev, Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, visited the sites of shelling in the Kharkiv region and met with the city authorities and the Defense Forces of the Region.

Akhmed Zakaev held meetings with Brigadier General Sergei Melnyk (General Marcel), the head of the Kharkiv garrison, Colonel Roman Hryshchenko, the commander of the 127th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, the Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov.
