The song is not directly related to the Georgian National Legion, but it is a good reason to mention it. The Georgian National Legion is a military formation formed in 2014 by Georgian volunteers. It was the first case in the history of independent Ukraine when citizens of another country joined the ranks of the Armed Forces. The Legion is still defending the independence of Ukraine.
