Three armed men were detained on Sunday morning during an operation by Russian occupation special services in Dagestan. According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, “they were planning terrorist attacks.” The detainees were found with weapons, ammunition and homemade bombs.
At about 05:30 a.m. local time, a “counter-terrorism operation” regime was introduced in the city of Kaspiysk and in two districts of the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala.
The National Anti-Terrorism Committee said that in several apartments in Kaspiysk and Makhachkala, “special forces blocked suspected terrorists.” Residents of nearby houses were evacuated.
ABN comment: Dagestan is one of several Caucasian regions occupied by the so-called Russian Federation. The coming events will show whether the detainees are actual terrorists, or whether the Russian media of disinformation, as in other cases, are dealing with the national liberation struggle of the Caucasian nations.
