Iran-backed Houthis attacked a Ukrainian ship with missiles | Anti-imperial Block of Nations

On 14 June, the Iranian-backed Houthis launched two anti-ship cruise missiles into the Gulf of Aden.

Both missiles hit the Ukrainian ship Verbena, writes the Central Command of the US Armed Forces. A fire broke out on board. The sailor was seriously injured and he was evacuated by plane for medical assistance.

“Such reckless behaviour by the Iran-backed Houthis continues to threaten regional stability and endanger the lives of sailors in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden,” the statement said.
