Tallinn supports Ukraine’s full membership in NATO along with the deployment of foreign troops as a security guarantee, said Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.

He recalled that Estonia was the first to advocate “boots on the ground” to defend Ukraine. The country’s government is also discussing the possibility of sending a peacekeeping force to the territory of Ukraine.

Tsahkna stressed that no circumstances should prevent Ukraine from joining the Alliance.
