According to him, the Russian army was planning a new offensive before the “elections” and the inauguration of dictator Vladimir Putin. “Our operation disrupted these plans. In a military sense, they were forced to transfer significant forces from near Kupyansk to maintain the Belgorod and Kursk regions. In fact, we foiled the offensive plans of the Russian army,” said Baranovskyi.
“We diverted the tactical aviation, it carried out more than 320 airstrikes, all the bombs landed on the territory of Russia. Thanks to our operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to stabilize the front and cover areas where a massive Russian attack was expected,” said the representative of the LSR.
