Several politicians, in particular, the Prime Minister of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in exile, one of the co-founders of the “Free Ideal – Ural” movement, Rafis Kashapov, a member of the League of Free Nations, public figures of the Bashkir, Belarusian, Buryat and other nations appealed to the President of the United of the Arab Emirates Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan with a request to start a campaign for the liberation of political prisoners of colonial Russia.

He noted that the appeal to the leader of the UAE is because this country was an intermediary in the process of exchanging prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia.
“Fighting for the release of political prisoners of colonial Russia, we appeal to you, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and offer an indefinite campaign to release the prisoners of conscience listed above.
We believe that Ukraine is one of the closest allies of the nations enslaved by Russia, therefore we ask the authorities of Ukraine to help take measures for the release of fighters – opponents of Russia’s war against Ukraine among non-Russian nations,” the appeal reads.
