The day before, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Danilov gave a detailed interview to the Ukrainian resource, talking about the latest events both in Ukraine and outside the country. Danilov has no doubt that in the future historians, describing today’s events in Ukraine, will also report on how Kyiv woke up the whole of Europe, the “Ukrainian Pravda” resource informs. Europe was in a state of “political sleep” for a long time. In Brussels, they could not even imagine that the Russian Federation is actually an authoritarian, totalitarian and autocratic country. Only the events of 2022 made the Europeans understand what Russia is really pretending to be. The Secretary of the National Security Council also reminded that Ukraine is now defending not only itself, but also the whole of Europe from Putin’s army.
Kyiv is also closely monitoring those countries that congratulate Putin on his re-election for a fifth term as the head of the Russian Federation. Ukraine has already seen the list of world leaders and is trying to understand what interest they have in the fact that Putin will rule Russia again. Countries that do not understand what democracy is, sooner or later will understand, because history always puts everything in its place. Danilov called on the West to prepare for Russia’s decolonization today. This process is already irreversible, even if some Western countries do not want to accept it. Besides, according to Danilov, the West is still not aware of all the danger that Putin poses to their countries.
